Parking Permits will be “LIVE” for purchase this upcoming MONDAY 14th
2025-2026 PARKING INFORMATION
- All vehicles parked on Marian University grounds must display a valid Marian University parking permit.
- Parking permits will be available on Monday, July 14th, 2025. You may purchase online only at Marian University Student Parking Permit Cost is $75.00
- You will be required to create an account before you can order a parking permit.
- A parking permit is valid for the academic calendar (August 1, 2025 – May 2, 2026)
- Accepted credit cards for payment are Visa, Mastercard, & Discover.
Prepare the following information to purchase a parking permit:
- Basic driver Information (your name, address, etc.)
- Your 9-digit Marian University Student ID # (ex: 000012345). If you do not have an ID #, please contact studentlife@marianuniversity.edu for assistance.
- Vehicle information (make, model, year, color, and license plate number and state)
- Registered vehicle owner information is required
- Please confirm you are using the correct mailing address when purchasing a permit.
- You will need to determine if your home or school address will be best mailing
address based on time of your purchase. Permits should be received within 7-10 days.

- Please use your Marian University issued email address when entering your personal information on your account to ensure receipt of a confirmation email regarding your order.
Instructions once you receive permit:
- You will receive your parking permit by mail within 7-10 days.
- New permit stickers must be placed on the lower passenger side of the windshield. Any outdated stickers must be removed.
- Purchasing a parking permit does not guarantee a valid parking space, as parking is on first-come, first-serve basis.
- Parking permits are non-refundable.
If a permit is stolen or lost, a replacement will be issued at the regular price.
Temporary Parking Permits:
- A temporary parking permit is required for all guests of Marian University.
- A temporary parking permit is required when your registered vehicle is not available and using another vehicle on a short-term basis.
- Temporary permits are available by filling out form here. Forms must be submitted 72 hours in advance of guest arriving on campus. You will receive email notification when your temporary permit is available for pick up.
- Guest stays cannot exceed three days.
- Marian students are allowed two temporary parking permits per semester with each permit not exceeding three days.
Parking Citations:
- All parking tickets must be paid within 14 business days or the ticket will receive a $10 late charge.
- Parking ticket appeals must be made online within 7 days.
- To pay or appeal citations please sign in here.
- Any tickets paid within 7 days of issue will receive a $5 discount.
- Any citations not paid within 14 days will be turned over to the Office of Business and Finance to be added to student accounts.
- Fines: No permit =$20 / Improper Parking = $25 / Fire Lane or Handicap = $30
The following regulations regarding parking on or around campus should be noted:
- Enforcement of University parking regulation will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025. Permits must be displayed on all vehicles by this date. All vehicles parked on campus Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. must display a parking permit. (Please note: An appeal will not be granted on the grounds of negligence i.e. “I brought another vehicle and forgot to get a temporary pass.”)
- Parking in restricted areas (President’s parking space, Guest of the President parking space, Guest parking, handicapped, fire lane, etc.) is a parking violation. Guest Parking is restricted to non-Marian patrons only (faculty, staff, and students are not allowed to park in these spaces).
- A valid parking space is defined as parking between 2 striped lines designated for parking.
- Parking on grass, sidewalks, perimeters of parking lots, fire lanes, or any driveways is a parking violation.
- The west side of National Avenue is designated as a no-parking area from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. No overnight parking is permitted on city streets (i.e. Division Street, National Avenue). The Fond du Lac City Police will ticket and/or tow illegally parking cars in these areas.
- The City Police also have jurisdiction to ticket cars on campus parked in fire lanes, handicap stalls and in front of garbage dumpsters.
- Beginning November 15 until March 15, the City of Fond du Lac Police Department will enforce the winter parking ordinance daily from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. The ordinance is based on a commonly used odd-even concept. On even calendar days, residents may only park on the even address side of the street. On odd calendar days, parking is allowed only on the odd side.
