Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI invites applications for the position of a Lab Assistant in Radiologic Technology, starting September 2025. Successful candidates will have strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the university and community. Marian University is an institution that values innovative teaching, advising and mentoring. All faculty participate I mentoring, with other related duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be available to assist with laboratory classes at our Fond du Lac, Wisconsin campus.
- Ability to complete Equipment and Positioning Checklists, assist with updating Master Clinical Records
- Tutoring of students.
- Be actively involved in student mentoring, assessment and assurance of learning, and curriculum design and revision.
- Strictly honor the privacy, security and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to state, federal and college regulations, policies and procedures.
- Participate in Program Committees (Advisor, Admissions, Outcome Assessment).
Assist in Required Courses:
- RAD 313 Radiologic Procedures and Image Analysis I (Fall)
- RAD 333 Radiologic Procedures and Image Analysis II (Spring)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree I Radiologic Technology or similar degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Current and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Wisconsin Radiographer license.
- Willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Master’s Degree.
- Extensive work experience with diagnostic, mobile, surgical and fluoroscopy procedures.
- Belong to related professional groups/memberships
- Experience with higher education teaching, both in-person and online modalities.
- Experience in learning management system platforms.
